What's your opinion on the Casey Anthony trial. Casey Anthony, the 25 year old mother is accused of murdering her 2 year old daughter Caylee. If convicted of 1st degree murder she will receive the death penalty. Prosecutors say the little girl was suffocated with duct tape, while the defense says she drowned in her grandparents’ pool.

I don't think there is enough evidence to show drowning as a cause of death. On the other hand I don't believe there is enough evidence to show duct tape as the murder weapon either.

I believe Casey Anthony is responsible for the death of her child but am afraid there is not going to be enough evidence to result in the death penalty.

I think it is an over hyped media sensationalized mess. I too think she killed her daughter and needs to be convicted and punished.

So the OJ jury surfaces... I cant believe some of the miss-justice that goes on...

I kind of figured that she wasn't going to get charged with 1st degree murder, but I thought she would for sure get a lesser charge of manslaughter or something. For her to walk away with just lying to police is an outrage. Now she is going to get lots of money with a movie and a book deal. Hope she doesn't blow it all on her partying since little Caylee is no longer around to slow her down.

What a farce..........she should be sentenced to life in prison.

Casey and the whole trial still disgusts me. Of course right when the verdict was announced, all kinds of "shocking new evidence" was released that proves that everything that came out of her mouth was rubbish. Now she wants another kid! Let's hope she don't kill it too.
